Travelling all the way from European market Utopia and Utility is a joie-de-vivre for the people who appreciate art in India. Art in the form of sculpture stacking vessels is a rare combination but two siblings Pia and Moritz Wüstenberg made this possible in the year 2012. The stacking vessels is an example of true effectiveness of collaboration between crafts and design. Through this blog we will feature India, a collection of stacking vessels capturing the very essence of the product.
The India pieces are formed with wood, glass, and metal (brass or copper). Together these materials are elegant and timeless, complementing each other. The collection brings together five different sizes and assemblies, and by the nobility of their composition they suit any kinds of interior display, which makes the India range one of the most successful collections. Alike the other collections of Stacking Vessels, these pieces stand as sculptures when stacked, and become functional once unstacked, the three containers acting as independent bowls and vases.
The functional pieces are made in different parts of Europe considering the richness of the quality of the product. An Utopia & utility product travels through many hands before it reaches their warehouse in Germany for final outcome.
