The Canyon Side table by Ginger & Jagger

The Canyon Side Table is a keepsake of the enigmatic forces of Nature. Canyons are formed either by the movement of water or wind, or by the stillness of weathering.

This side table is carved from a stone block, and the boundaries are either angular or curved. The porous texture of the Travertine breathes on the surface of the top and sides. And in its core, the gold leaf is hand gilded in the stone. The Canyon encloses a purposeful materiality of nature’s wonders. The material has its body in Romano Travertine in natural finishing, details in Gold Leaf in antique finishing.

Arborescence floor lamp from CVL Luminaires

Purity and elegance for this satin brass Arborescence floor lamp with a white cylindrical shade in Drop Paper a high quality composite modern material, from the designer Hervé Langlais. Placed on a very thin disc, three goldenrods in satin brass of different lengths spring up like the branches of a tree. Inside these three branches, the white, translucent cylindrical lampshade diffuses the light. Equipped with a dimmer, this floor lamp will adapt to all environments.

An arched tube encompasses a lampshade held placed in position within three claws. It is a series of associations, with elements that can start from the ground just as easily as from the ceiling, and come together to create a luminous network. CVL Luminaires is a French luminaire manufacturer with more than 50 years of experience in brass manufacturing. From its long history, CVL offers a wide range of chandeliers, wall lamps, pendants, ceiling lamps and floor lamps in a perfect classic style. Conquering new markets and wanting to satisfy the most demanding architects, CVL launches a brand new very design collection. To invent these new models and create a new identity to the brand, CVL does not hesitate to call on renowned designers like Hervé Langlais and the POOL duo and to recruit young talents directly integrated into the internal design office. The result is a homogeneous collection, with a strong identity, very elegant, a lot of femininity worked in the material of predilection of our manufacturer: brass. This one is declined in several finishes often associated with each other: polished, satin, or graphite. Each luminaire is hand made in the brand’s factory near Angers. 

Trained as an architect, Hervé Langlais collaborated for many years with Paul Andreu, a specialist in airport constructions, and together designed the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing in China and even the Shanghai Oriental Art Center. Twenty years later, he started again what he loved doing and developed a product designer activity. This former building designer grants specific importance to each detail, refined form and to the rarity of materials. Hervé is the first independent designer to become part of the CVL team.

Bomma Phenomena – Attractive Contemporary Forms

The Phenomena range by Bomma are sculptural mouthblown lights designed by Studio Dechem. The collection comprises of hanging & floor lamps which are inspired by simple shapes such as a circle, triangle, rectangle and oval. 

The forms are what first attract you in an instant. The collection has gained its name from the term phenomenon which is the Greek word for ‘appearance’. The shades are hand blown glass with fittings in a gold and silver finish. The collection is produced in gradient glass – a material that is so difficult, yet versatile, so strong, yet fragile.

Pisara Stacking Vessels from Utopia & Utility

Utopia & Utility is where they combine the functional and the fantastical. Each object designed is handmade and unique, and their signature products are the ‘Stacking Vessels’. The Stacking Vessels combine several materials and makers in a unique object. Each piece consists of a set of individual containers, stacked together to create a sculptural vessel shape. Once disassembled each part becomes functional, serving as bowls and vases.

Pisara, ‘drop’ in Finnish, is a collection of two Stacking Vessels with various finishes, and an exclusive palette of pastel and vivid colours never used before. In the way a drop would blend the pigments on a watercolour canvas, this assortment takes inspiration in the versatile unity of nature. The piece consists of a set of two individual containers, stacked together to create a sculptural vessel shape. Once disassembled each part becomes functional, serving as bowls and vases.

Handmade in Europe, by individual craftsmen: handblown glass (Czech Republic), hand-turned & smoked wood (Germany). The materials then come to North Germany where they are fitted and assembled.

The Visitor by Gardeco – Decorative Figurines

The Visitor Collection by Gardeco, Belgium is designed by Guido Deleu, a retired civil engineer who has now dedicated his life to his passion for art and sculpting. The sculpture is one of his most popular creations and his dedication to his work has led to several nominations for art contests.

The sculpture was created in 1996 in a design contest held to build a sculpture for the main entrance of a cultural centre in Flanders, Belgium. An artistic representation of a curious character visiting a museum, gazing at works of art, head in the air and hands in his pockets.
